Is Heard Unlimited really a one-time purchase?
Yes. $2.99 once, forever. No subscription, no annual renewal, no surprise charges. You buy it, you own it. Apple Family Sharing is supported, so one purchase covers your whole household.
Will Heard Recipes ever add a subscription?
No. Heard Unlimited is a permanent one-time purchase model and we have no plans to change that. If we add new premium features in the future, existing Unlimited buyers will continue to receive every update for free. The only subscription tier is Heard Kitchen, which is exclusively for restaurants and includes team management features.
Does Heard Unlimited include future updates?
Every update, forever. New features, parser improvements, new social media integrations, new AI capabilities — all included in your $2.99 purchase. We will not gate features behind additional purchases.
What's the difference between Heard Free and Heard Unlimited?
Heard Free gets you 10 saved recipes with every feature unlocked — full cook mode, allergen detection, meal planning, AI assistant (rate-limited). Heard Unlimited removes the 10-recipe cap, removes AI rate limits, and includes Apple Family Sharing. There are no ads in either tier.
How does Heard Kitchen pricing work?
Heard Kitchen comes in three tiers based on how many kitchen seats you run. Kitchen Solo is $9.99/month for 1 kitchen, Kitchen Team is $24.99/month for up to 3 kitchens, and Kitchen Pro is $49.99/month for up to 10 kitchens. Each kitchen supports up to 20 members and includes the restaurant web dashboard, email invites, roles and permissions, version history, ingredient costing and plate costs, inventory counts, vendor lists with one-tap order guides, proposals, assignments, archive, and multi-location recipe pushes. For larger restaurant groups, contact us at support@heardrecipes.com for volume pricing.
What payment methods are accepted?
Heard Free and Heard Unlimited are purchased through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), using the payment method already on your account. Heard Kitchen, for restaurants, can be started either in the app or by card at restaurants.heardrecipes.com — whichever you use is where you manage and cancel it.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google per their standard refund policies. For App Store purchases, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play purchases, request through your Google Play account. We honor all platform refund decisions.
